Who we are:

ShipperBee is a first-of-its-kind end-to-end delivery system that bypasses hub-and-spoke distribution centers to save shippers money, enhance regional delivery service levels, and reduce carbon emissions by up to 73% per parcel. Our collaborative delivery driver network delivers parcels using a network of innovative, smart, interconnected transfer mailboxes, called Hives, located throughout North America.   We are the next Uber or Airbnb – but for parcel shipments!  We’re building a disruptive tech company to move parcels in a way that’s better for the environment.  

What you’ll do:

In this challenging role, you will help build and progress business strategies and plans met with efficacy and efficiency in order to answer customer and internal demands and deliver on all customer service level agreements.  You will champion our innovative ShipperBee APP and HIVE network by providing inspired leadership for the operation of the organization by helping to develop and implement operational policies and procedures for expansion and market domination.  

In this role, you will:

  • Work with internal business partners to help refine the business systems that provide the foundation for our solution and develop a customer service strategy end execution plan.  
  • Create partnerships with various organizations that will help in the delivery of our solution.
  • Develop, implement and manage the operational processes that run the business.  
  • Work alongside our CTO to refine the business systems that provide the foundation for our solution.  
  • Work with customers to implement our solution in their environment.

What you bring to the table:

  • 5+ years’ experience management, operations and leadership ideally within a start up or scale up organization.
  • Track record of building organizational processes with the analytical know-how to improve quality, productivity and efficiency.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills with an ability to multi-task with ease  
  • Tech savvy with a proficiency in MS Office Suite  
  • Effective communicator, quick to respond and remains calm under pressure.    
  • High level of critical and logical reasoning combined with an attention to detail and swift execution.
  • Understanding of general budgeting and finance  
  • Proven ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, vendors and employees.
  • Above-average communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Bachelors’ degree in operations management or similar field of study
